Tree of Independence Festival

In honor of our iconic horse chestnut tree planted by signer of the Declaration of Independence, William Whipple and his enslaved servant, Prince, turning 250 years old, come learn about its history, shop specialty commemorative items, enjoy festive food, and celebrate this special birthday! The garden and Festival are FREE that day.  Please note that house tours must be purchased separately. They can either be purchased online at the link below or in person the day of the event.

US@ 250: Big Watch

Join the Moffatt-Ladd and the American Independence Center in commemorating and reflecting on the nation's semiquincentennial with a screening of Ken Burns' The American Revolution with a discussion to follow.  Light refreshments will be served.

This event is FREE but registration is required due to limited capacity.
