| Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival Saturday, September 25, 2010, 12pm-2pm Moffatt-Ladd Warehouse Free
Since the autumn of 2000, the Portsmouth Maritime Folk Festival has been
held annually in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We celebrate our local and
national heritage of seafaring and maritime trades by taking nautical
songs and music to the pubs, cafés, churches and streets of this
seacoast town. The 11th annual festival is September 25 and 26 with free on-going performances throughout the weekend. From 12pm-2pm on Saturday, Setting Sail will perform in the Moffatt-Ladd Warehouse. Donations are welcome. Visit the festival's website for more information.

| Seacoast Fringe Festival October 8-10, 2010 Donations welcomed
You'll be amazed by the unique, innovative artists and performers at this three day festival that's come to Portsmouth. Downtown Portsmouth will come alive with street performances and in-door
theater performances as well. On the streets you'll see jugglers, break
dancers, clowns, puppets and other amazing acts. Fringe Festivals are an opportunity for original shows, experimental
works, new comedy, or small dance companies to perform for enthusiastic
fans. Classical theatre, ballet, stand up, monologues, children's shows,
and circus acts.

| New Hampshire Film Festival Thursday-Sunday, October 14 through October 17
We are thrilled that the Moffatt-Ladd Warehouse is again one of the film venues for the 2010
New Hampshire Film Festival. A schedule of films and dates will be announced soon. Films and prices will vary and may be purchased at all
of the venues and at the Music Hall box office, located on Chestnut
Street in Portsmouth. Please visit the festival's website for an updated schedule, and for more information about all of the films and venues planned throughout this exciting festival.
The
Moffatt-Ladd Warehouse is handicapped accessible. Parking is limited
but there will be a drop-off location near the entrance to the
Warehouse.

| Closing Day Sunday, October 17 1pm-5pm Tours $6 per adult, $2.50 per child, lasts about 1 hour
The Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden will close for the season on Sunday, October 17. We will re-open for tours June 12, 2011 for our 99th season. Please check our calendar over the winter as we have several great programs planned for the spring. The Warehouse and Garden are available to rent for your private event towards the end of April through the beginning of November.

| Twilight Tour Friday, September 10, 2010, 5pm-8pm Adults: $20 advance tickets, $25 at the door, Children: $10 advance tickets, $15 at the door
Visit 7 of Portsmouth historic houses at night as they open their doors and guide visitors through their rooms via candlelight. This unique experience gives visitors a glimpse of what these houses were like when they were lived in. Tickets allow admission into each of these houses and let visitors tour them at their own pace. Houses on the tour include the Moffatt-Ladd House & Garden, The Warner House, the John Paul Jones House at the Portsmouth Historical Society, the Wentworth-Gardner and Tobias Lear Houses, the Gov. Arrr Matey! Looking for buried treasure? Come to the Moffatt-Ladd House and Garden on Children's Day, and seek your booty on our treasure hunt through the garden. Dress the part after making your own eye patch, bandana, and pirate flag. The wee ones can color their own pirate, parrot or ship. The best part? It's all free!
